The Best Christmas…Ever

For that Friday feeling, I thought I’d do a Christmas ‘mash up’ (Glee style but without the talent) of two big songs of 2012:

I remember when I woke up, the first time,

Saying, ‘This is it, Santa’s been!’ ’cause like,

I had been excited for twelve months,

Then it was Christmas time again (Woop!)

Then I saw my stocking hanging up and said,

‘Santa, I love you and I swear I’ve been a good girl, trust me.’

Remember how magical it was that day?

I say, ‘It’s Christmas’, we’ll have fun, we’ll eat lots, and drink (some).

Oooh, we’ve only got to sleep for eleven more nights,

We’ll have the best Christmas ever, all together.

I used to think that Christmas could never get better,

But now we have kids, it just gets better and better…

And I’m like…’I must…I mean, I must not cry, you know, like…

Wait ’til they open the presents downstairs.

Like, magical.
